5 / 5 STARS
Wow! I absolutely adore this book! For sure one of my favorites by Laurie! To say this book moved me would be a gross understatement. The amount of laughter and tears are astounding. I adore Mica, she is so strong and so smart and her love for the boys is just wonderful. I feel like she should marry them all - but that's just me - perhaps I'm a pervert, but whatever. Mica really comes into her own in this book.
As the book begins Sean is gone and everyone is devastated and trying to figure out where he is and how to bring him back. To help Mica, Killian ends up bringing her to his place of solitude on another plane. Here Mica ends up receiving a whole new set of powers and she realizes that Killian isn't the big, bad warrior he shows himself to be. I admit Killian has had my heart since book one - Gawd I love me the bad boy!! When sparks begin to fly between him and Mica - well the man made me get butterflies in my stomach in all the right ways.
Sean has a wonderful ability to piss me off royally in this one, which sucks because I still adore him. Mixed feelings make me a crazy person - well at least look like a crazy person to anyone who was watching the emotions on my face while reading this one. His stubborn nature and damn pride have caused him to be a dick at times, but I know in his heart he is still sweet sexy Sean ... he just needs to realize this too!
And Dec ... my sweet, hilarious, beautiful, wonderful Dec ... the man brought me to sobbing, semi-hysterical tears in this book and I'll leave it at that as I don't want to post spoilers.
So all in all, between the secrets, the tears, the laughter, the insanity of the Primani world this book was absolutely wonderful and I hate that it's over. I will be grabbing my box of kleenex, hunkering down and starting book 3. Once again, Laurie Olerich had moved me with her amazing writing! <3
