"My name is Declan and I'll be your official tour guide and sex toy if you'll have me." Declan Manning, Primani
Awwww sweet Dec, who doesn't love this hilarious, caring, SEXY as all hell, awesome Primani. This book blew me away, but I would expect nothing less from Laurie at this point. Did I cry - yes, did I laugh - like a crazy lady - did I blush - fuck yeah, in the best way possible!
Rori is a strong woman, trying to maintain some semblance of a normal life without family, without money, in a crappy apartment surrounded by ass holes (Like Hector) just trying to make it through life. Add to that the fugue states she endures and the nightmares and she's barely making it by. Luckily she has Aurthor, an old man she's friends with at the library, and Raine, a street vendor who is one of her only friends. After a near death experience, she becomes Dec's charge. He'll be able to keep his distance, no problem, she's cute, but she's only a human right?! Poor Dec doesn't know what hit him.
Rori is strong, independent and doesn't want to be any ones 'charity case' - she doesn't believe in angels or demons and is about to have her world fall down around her while trying to figure out her family history.
This book once again will rock your world! We have all the favorite Primani, Sean, Killian and Mica, Dani (who is kind of a bitch now) and the TRIPLETS! We get Dec's (tragic, heartbreaking) back story as well as tons of laughs. Oh yeah, and there's Mr. Crowley - cuz who doesn't name their penis?!
And finally - "I've waited lifetimes for you." - this small line had me tearing up with a ginormous shit eating grin on my face. This book was beautifully fantastically wonderful and I hope I get to live in the Primani world for many books to come!
